Abstract
This document, whose material was originally part of the CERN
Apollo Users Guide, assumes that the reader has already a basic
knowledge of shell programming. If this is not the case it is
suggested to first read a basic Unix textbook such as
"A Practical Guide to the Unix System" by Mark M. Sobell,
available from the User Support Bookshop,
Bat. 513.
